Very good fruitwood buffet with beautiful light and dark grain highlighted by burr veneer on the drawers and well grained inset panels on the doors. Glorious glow and patina. This piece has traditional elements of the Louis Philippe style, including stylized feet and canted corners. The teardrop escutcheons add eye-catching detail. Small areas of distress and old knot holes, shown in close up images. Latch and lock work very well. Excellent storage.
