A small English chest of drawers with good faux bamboo detail and mouldings. The old paint has been refreshed and faux distressed with dark wax. The shading provided by the wax is hard to convey in photographs and we hope we have done it adequately by darkening the photos. Classic 2 over 2 construction and the drawers slide easily and close snugly. Carved apron adds a whimsical note. There are some hairline cracks in the paint o the top and sides which we have amended with colored wax on the sides and left alone on the top to avoid distubing the eye.
