A large four door enfilade or buffet, fashioned out of solid elm burrs. The wood has been matchbooked on the sides, doors and top to charming effect, especially where the grain forms upside down hearts on two of the doors. Wonderful color and patina throughout, and lovely natural graining and knotholes on the top, shown in thumbnails. a piece with real visual impact and a very good example of French country furniture of the mid 19th Century.
