A classic Louis Philippe commode in dramatically grained walnut veneer. Three wide drawers plus an extra hidden drawer in the top molding! The book matched walnut has very good color and patina, and the marble is in moderate condition, with a several areas of wear, shown in thumbnails. Chamfered feet complete the look. We have provided keys for all four drawers to pull open, though none are original nor do they turn the locks. There are some small cracks on either side of the body of the piece which have been filled with wax in the traditional manner.
