A handsome chestnut three-door enfilade from France’s Directoire period. Beautifully and dramatically grained wood and an imposing silhouette. Both the single and double doored sides open to a wide, deep cupboard with a single shelf. The simple handsome design of this piece is complimented by the chunky detail on the feet. Good storage and some good light original distress on the top, shown in thumbnails. The back is unfinished; typical of the period.
