A dark pine breadseller’s desk from 19th century, France. This piece is highly functional as a desk, but also has interesting features which reflect it’s former life in a bakery, such as a coin slot which leads to the drawer below, and a large storage bin on the side which held warm breads for sale. The 24.5 inch apron height on the desk is roomy and comfortable for knees. Unique and beautiful!
