19th Century Estate Made bank of Drawers by C. Mellier & Co.
Reference #: 0422-N11
A solid and well constructed bank of drawers from renowned London cabinet maker C. Mellier & Co., which was in production from 1871-1915. The mahogany is in good antique condition. Drawers open and close easily and quietly and are quite clean inside – all dovetailed. Some moderate repairs have been done to fill a few small holes on the sides and there is a pull out display shelf, pictured in thumbnails. This suggests that this may have been part of a larger custom installation, either at a haberdashery or in a men’s private dressing room.
