A glowing Italian walnut veneered chest, with serpentine drawers and original brasses, circa 1790. Classic scalloped top and apron, plus bun feet complete the look. The intricate inlayed design on the top is in good antique condition. There is a fun keyhole on the right side which used to lock the adjacent drawer. Sadly no key. Drawers are clean and slide very easily for a piece of this age. Elegant and imposing.
