Briggs House Antiques - Shipping Information

PURCHASING

When you have selected your Briggs House Antique, please email or call us with the dealer reference number to arrange for an invoice.  If you have questions at this time, we will be happy to help. New York State sales tax at the Westchester County tax rate of 7.375% will be applied.  Orders that are shipped out of state will not incur sales tax.

SHIPPING
We can get shipping quotes and make delivery arrangements for your Briggs House Antique with our preferred shippers.  A credit card will be required to cover all shipping charges.  Your quote will be activated upon approval by you and receipt of payment (by check).  Your antique will be blanket wrapped and delivered into your home, with all the wrapping removed and taken away (white glove service).
Smaller items will be shipped by UPS, FedEx or USPS whenever possible.

DAMAGE
We ensure that items leave our location in good condition and are not responsible for any damage incurred during shipping and delivery.  Your shipping cost includes insurance in the event that your piece arrives damaged and in need of a repair. Always inspect your purchase once it has been unwrapped.  If there is any damage, other than the standard distress found on an antique, you have two options.  If you believe the damage is a result of the delivery, you may refuse the item, and the delivery service will be liable for the damage. Photograph the damage you see.  In some cases, the delivery service will repair the damage and return the piece to you.  If the damage is not repairable, you may make a claim for compensation from the delivery service.  Discuss this with your deliveryman.
If your item is shipped via UPS, FedEx or USPS, please retain all packing materials for inspection by the applicable representative.

RETURNS
Please be sure your purchase will work well in your home as we do not accept returns.
